Maternity shoots… It all starts with the bump!
What a fantastic reminder of one of the most beautiful experiences a woman goes through – pregnancy! And what better way to preserve a memory of this time in your life than a beautiful set of photos! Your partner will love them too! Invite him along to the session or surprise him with a gift!
Bring your favourite clothes that will remind you of this time or else feel free to help your self to one of my many dresses and shawls. Natural is also great!
The best time to have these done is when you are about 30 weeks. At this time your belly is round, but not as heavy and uncomfortable as it can be at 35 weeks!
Newborn sessions, while they are all curled up!
It’s is essential that these sessions are booked early, preferably during the last month of pregnancy. The newborn sessions take place during the first 14 days of your baby’s life so that we can ensure that he or she is asleep and comfortable. Sessions can take up to 4 hours in order to allow for feeding times and nappy changes. Don’t worry, I have lots of patience and experience! A week later your images will be ready for viewing on the big screen and there you can make your choice from the range of products to display on your wall. Orders are prepared at a professional lab and therefore you need to allow up to four weeks for completion. I will then contact you when they are ready for collection. It’s important that we meet beforehand so that I can show you some examples of my work and get to know you and your needs, so please come in and visit me during your pregnancy.
Family sessions
And baby makes two, or three or five or more! I would love celebrate the wonderful bond that is a family with you. I feel honoured to be able to get to know you as a family and bring you together to create an heirloom that your children and your children’s children will treasure forever. Time is of the essence! Carpe diem!
